Federal Defenders of Montana
The Federal Defenders of Montana is growing! We are accepting applications for two permanent full-time Assistant Federal Defender positions at the Great Falls Headquarters Office. One position is a trial AFD position, and duties include trial and appellate representation in federal court. The other position is for a non-capital habeas attorney, which requires intensive research and writing, primarily within the framework of 28 U.S.C. sections 2254 and 2255 but will also include trial and other duties as assigned, both under the direction of the Federal Defender or designee.
