Misty’s career in the field of law spans decades.  Her experience includes representing clients in courts throughout Montana, working for multiple local firms, working at a local prosecution office, serving as a Hearings Officer for housing cases, and working as a legal librarian for a multi-national law firm.  She is also the former Clinical Law Clerk for the Honorable Donald W. Molloy in the United States District Court for the District of Montana.  But, the work she finds most rewarding is representing real people—making sure her client’s voices are heard, and achieving results that have real impacts on people’s lives.

Misty was awarded her Juris Doctorate from the Alexander Blewett III School of Law at the University of Montana and holds a certificate in Mediation.  Misty is also certified in the NHTSA Standardized Field Sobriety Tests used by law enforcement throughout the United States for detecting DUIs.  Along with her law partner, Ashley, she pioneered a new method of law practice known as Cooperative Family Law.  Misty has successfully litigated numerous civil and criminal trials and hearings in several Montana courts.  In her personal life, Misty enjoys spending time with family, enjoying all the natural beauty of Montana’s outdoors, and creating music.
